For Retiree Enrollment and Eligibility, EBDS can coordinate enrolling retirees and compiling enrollment information. We create individual accounts based on benefits choices and coverage levels, then distribute eligibility data to carriers.

For Retiree Billing, EBDS calculates the costs for each retiree’s elected coverage, bills for the retiree’s share, collects payments, and remits the collected cost shares to the employer. We also regularly send electronic eligibility reports to all carriers.

For Retiree Premium Reimbursement, EBDS can coordinate a plan to help you limit your FAS 106 liability. You regularly contribute to each retiree’s account, the retiree submits claims to EBDS for insurance premiums, and EBDS reimburses the retiree. And EBDS can make direct premium payments to carriers on your behalf—so you have no checks to write.
